RECOGNITION AS RESEARCH CENTER
An inspection was conducted by the Committee comprising Prof.Vishweshwara Rao the Dean of faculty, Arts College, O.U., Prof. Y.C.Venudhar, Registrar, Prof. P. Shashi Rekha, Head, Dept. of Sanskrit and Prof. A. Ramulu, Chairman, BOS, Dept. of Sanskrit, Art’s college, O.U., to recognize Sanskrit Academy as a Center for pursuing Research leading to the award of Ph.D Degree in the discipline of Sanskrit on 25.09.09 in Academy campus. The Academy is recognized as a Research center under Osmania University.
RECOGNITION AS ADARSH SHODHA SANSTHAN
In 2002, the Academy was elevated to the status of a Central Autonomous Research Institute with the recognition and financial support of the Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University), under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The Academy is recognized as Adarsha Shodha Sansthan or Model Research Institute.
