WORKSHOP ON KARAKA PRAKARANAM FROM 19-06-2017 TO 26-06-2017
A Workshop on Kaaraka Prakaranam was conducted by Dr. K. Varalakshmi, Deputy Director from 19-06-2017 to 26-06-2017. Thirty three participants have been participated. Graphic books have been prepared for the kaaraka prakaranam. participants are provided E-content and videos. After every prakaranam slip test has been conducted. Students were very much satisfied with the material. Students who are pursuing MA Sanskrit from Osmania University and Pottisriramulu University through distance mode were benefited by this workshop.
WORKSHOP ON SAMASA PRAKARANAM FROM 15-07-2017 TO 22-07-2017
Work-shop on Samaasa prakaranam was conducted from 15-07 2017 to 22-07-2017. Thirty three participants have been participated. Graphic books have been prepared for the Samaasa prakaranam. participants are provided E-content and videos on Avyayibhavasamaasa and Tatpurushasamaasa prakaranam. After every prakaranam slip test has been conducted. Students were very much satisfied with the material. Students who are pursuing MA Sanskrit from Osmania University and Pottisriramulu University through distance mode were benefited by this workshop. Students got a clear picture of Kaaraka prakaranam and Samaasa prakaranam since every sutram of Kaarakam and Samaasa prakaranam is explained with graphic picture.
SANSKRIT DAY CELEBRATIONS ON 07-08-2017
Sanskrit Academy and Samskrita Bharati jointly celebrated Sanskrit Day on 07-08-2017. Pt. Narendra Kapre, President of Samskrita Bharati delivered lecture on the importance of Sanskrit language. He, in simple Sanskrit language, threw light on vedic literature and Ancient Indian scriptures. Another veteran Sanskrit scholar Pt. Vedantam Kumara swamy, delivered lecture scientific aspects of the Sanskrit literature.
School children, students of Prathama Deeksha and other Sanskrit lovers presented various culture programmes in Sanskrit language. Children recited sanskrit slokas, small skits in simple Sanskrit language and showcased the beautiful structure of the divine language. A group of women also presented a small drama explaining the ways to learn Sanskrit language. The necessity of the preservation Sanskrit language is demonstrated by the group of elderly women in the drama. The premises of Sanskrit Academy echoed with Sanskrit songs, stotras and rhymes.
TEXT READING CLASSES
Text reading classes are conducting by Dr. V. Subrahmanyam, Deputy Director since May 2016 in the premises of Nagarjuna Nagar community hall, Tarnaka, regularly on every Tuesday from 5.30pm to 7.30 pm. Abhignana Shakuntalam, Sankshepa Ramayanam and Bhartruhari Neeti Shatakam are the subjects. Fifteen participants are participating regularly. Study material has been prepared and distributed among the participants.
SIDDHANTA KOUMUDI CLASSES
Siddhanta Koumudi classes have been conducting by Dr. V. Subrahmanyam on every Saturday in the premises of Sanskrit Academy. Three students are participating regularly.
MUKTA SWADHYAYA PEETHAM CLASSES
Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India) is a premier institution in the field of higher learning in Sanskrit. This University has been recognized by the Distance Education Bureau (DEB) of India to run Distance Education programme for various traditional and new courses. The Mukta Svadhyaya Peetham (Institute of Distance Education) established for the purpose of running this programme under Sansthan has taken initiatives in right direction to launch various courses in distance education mode.
The Study centers in campuses of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan are called Svadhyaya Kendra. These study centers are running successfully under Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, in their 13 campuses. The M.S.P. launched distance mode for various traditional programmes. All the programmes offered by M.S.P. are approved by Distance Education Bureau.
The Director of Distance Education of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan has permitted Sanskrit Academy to run the classes at Sanskrit Academy on behalf of Sringeri Campus of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan. 66 participants were enrolled in Prak-Shastri Bridge, Shastri Bridge and Acharya Bridge courses for the Academic year 2017-18. Classes for all these participants were conducted in 5 stages. Each stage was for 2 hours. Classes were took place in the seminar hall of Sanskrit Academy form 5.00 pm to 7.00pm. Printed material and e-content have been prepared and distributed among the students time to time. Students were very much satisfied with the provided material.
EXAMINATION CENTRE
Sanskrit Academy got permission to conduct bridge course exams in the Academy premises from the Controller of Examinations of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan. According to the schedule we have conducted the Bridge course exams from 09.06.2018 to 17.06.2018 successfully.
TWO-DAY AN INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR
Sanskrit Academy conducted a Two-Day International Seminar on Linguistics, Literature and Philosophy on 30th April, 2017 and 1st May, 2017 in collaboration with Ka_rmik Linguistic and Literary Association and Bishkek Humanities University, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
